The rules for using Rehearsay, in plain English. Your scripts stay yours.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Rehearsay (rehearsay.com) is operated by Frisson Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our"):
Frisson Labs LLCYou can reach us at hello@rehearsay.com.
By using Rehearsay, with or without an account, you agree to these terms, our privacy notice and our refund policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Rehearsay.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Rehearsay. If you're under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and make any purchase.
You can start without an account. To sync your scripts across devices or to buy Pro or a production pass, you sign in with Google. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to it secure and tell us at hello@rehearsay.com if you think someone else is using it.
You can stop using Rehearsay at any time. To delete your account and its data, email privacy@rehearsay.com.
The scripts you upload stay yours. We don't claim any ownership of them, or of anything else you add, such as a voice sample you record for voice cloning.
So that we can run the service, you give us permission to store, copy and process what you add (for example, reading a script, detecting its characters and lines, and generating audio for them), and to show it to you and to castmates you choose to share it with. We use your scripts only to provide Rehearsay to you and the people you share them with. We don't sell them or use them for advertising. This permission ends when you delete the content, except for copies we must briefly keep in backups or to meet legal obligations.
You confirm that you have the right to upload each script you add and to use it for rehearsal, and that you have the right to clone any voice you record for voice cloning.
Please use Rehearsay for what it's for: rehearsing. You must not:
If you misuse Rehearsay, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close your account. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to explain.
Practice is free on every plan. Plans limit how many new scripts you can add each month and how long they can be, as shown on our pricing page. We may change these limits. Scripts you've already added stay practiceable, even if you move to a plan with lower limits.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: it sells Pro and production passes to you, takes payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and issues your receipts and invoices. Your purchase is also governed by Paddle's buyer terms.
Rehearsay itself, including its software, design, generated voices and branding, belongs to Frisson Labs LLC or the companies we license it from. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Rehearsay under these terms. Please don't use our name or logo without permission.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
We work hard to keep Rehearsay running well, but we don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available, or that it will read every script or check every line correctly. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering Rehearsay altogether, we'll give you reasonable notice. To the extent the law allows, we make no other promises about the service, express or implied.
To the extent the law allows, Frisson Labs LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost opportunities or lost data, arising from your use of Rehearsay. Our total liability to you for any claim about Rehearsay is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Rehearsay in the 12 months before the claim and US$50.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
You can stop using Rehearsay whenever you like. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it. Sections 8, 10 and 12 continue to apply after these terms end.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Queens County, New York, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living outside the United States, you also keep any protection that the mandatory laws of your country give you.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and if a change materially affects you, we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Rehearsay after that, the new terms apply.
